Ecuadorian Association of Teachers of English to Speakers of Other Languages

ECUATESOL – Ecuadorian Association of Teachers Of English to Speakers of Other Languages (Asociación Ecuatoriana de profesores de Inglés para Hablantes de Otros Idiomas) is an organization that was founded on contribution of volunteers. Past, present and future of ECUATESOL depend on the passion, spirit, innovation, and creativity of its visionary volunteers, architect of the new ELT era in Ecuador and in the world.

 

ECUATESOL in fulfilling its mission creates multiple spaces where people may take advantage of in order to share the knowledge, skills, experiences, with the community. Others, take advantage of this spaces to learn, get experience and develop multiple skills, such as leadership, coordinator projects, interpersonal skills, etc.   

 

We know your time is gold and we want to make sure you get what you are looking for. Check below possible positions you may volunteer for.

 

Education
Assist at workshops, seminars, trainings, conventions. Duties could include registration, room set-up, organizing hand-outs, etc.

 

Committee or Work Group

Participate in periodic meetings in which ideas and strategies are developed with the intent of enhancing and expanding the programs and services.

 

Office Volunteer
Duties could include computer data entry, assist with mass mailings, making copies, emailing, etc.

-Be highly committed to values and principles;

-Be willing and able to work in different environment;

-Have strong interpersonal and organizational skills;

Basic registration requirements

 

-Be an active member of ECUATESOL

-Complete the application 

-Be related or connected to the ELT field

-Be over 18 years of age

- Is able to communicate in English

-Have an interview with Volunteer Program Coordinator

-Be approved by the board of directors of ECUATESOL
